Joe Little, M.D., received his medical degree from Vanderbilt University Medical School. He completed his pediatric residency at Vanderbilt University Children’s Hospital. He then served in the National Health Service Corps for two years.
He and his wife, Billie, founded Children’s Discovery House, a children’s interactive museum in Murfreesboro. The museum moved to its new site in 2002 as the Children’s Discovery Center at Murfree Springs, where his wife still serves as the center’s Executive Director. They have three children: Alex, Jon, and Beth.
He has been practicing in Murfreesboro for more than twenty years. He serves on the editorial advisory board of Pediatric Annal. Dr. Little is a board-certified pediatrician and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
