Dr. Tim Henschel is a Board-Certified Pediatrician with nearly thirteen years of experience providing pediatric healthcare. He did his residency in pediatrics at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital, and is the founder of Mercy Children’s Clinic in Franklin, TN, where he practiced the last eight plus years. He is excited to be joining Tennessee Pediatrics in Murfreesboro and looks forward to developing a thriving practice here. Special interests include caring for children with asthma, sports medicine, and adolescent medicine.

He is married and has three children of his own, ages 8, 4, and 1. He enjoys travel, sports, particularly running, hiking, camping, and anything else that gets him in the outdoors. As a father and a pediatrician, he considers it an honor when someone asks him to care for their children. “I believe providing healthcare to a child is like caring for your own; you want what’s best for them, so they can live as healthy a life as possible.” Dr. Henschel is currently accepting new patients, and is available most days of the week.
